JONAS BROTHERS • BACKWARDS

PROJECT: Jonas Brothers - Backwards (Unofficial Lyric Video)

CLIENT: Personal Project

ROLE: Creative Direction • Design • Animation

A lyric video for the Jonas Brothers' “Backwards,” made entirely using a gelli plate. I rotoscoped Joe's footage, turned it into halftones, and printed it out as contact sheets before transferring everything onto a gelli plate. I also created the lyrics by transferring individually printed letters, then scanned everything back in and put the whole video together in After Effects.

The video features only the chorus, adapted for social media.
